Erste Group – Beelievers
Working with London animation studio Passion Animation Studios for the second time on this series of Christmas commercials for the Erste Group, the ipBuild team created and textured a wide range of detailed props and environmental items. Meticulously sculpting in tiny details and imperfections to give the appearance of bespoke, hand-crafted miniature physical models, all helping to give ‘Beelievers‘ it’s tactile, hand crafted feel.
The brief was the same as for the ‘First Christmas’ commercial that the IPBuild team worked on in 2018, to create a set of assets that have all the detail of skilfully created, miniature, hand-crafted physical models but retaining the feel of being in a living and breathing world. Great care had to be taken to ensure the small imperfections that would occur from constructing these in the real world, such as irregular edge widths, damage, surface scores, nicks and scratches, were all created at a believable level.
