Erste Group – First Christmas
Working with London animation studio Passion Animation Studios the ipBuild team created and textured a range of detailed props, furniture and environmental items for the classroom scene of this gorgeous Christmas commercial for the Erste Group. Meticulously sculpting in tiny details and imperfections to give the appearance of bespoke, hand-crafted miniature physical models, all helping to give ‘First Christmas‘ it’s tactile, crafted feel.
The brief was clear, create a set of assets that have all the detail of skilfully created, miniature, hand-crafted physical models but retaining the feel of being in a living and breathing world. Great care had to be taken to ensure the small imperfections that would occur from constructing these in the real world, such as irregular edge widths, damage, surface scores, nicks and scratches, were all created at a believable level.
