PHA – Choose To Live Better

Interference Pattern created a series of animations for two infomercials aimed at tackling rising levels of obesity in Northern Ireland, for the countries regional healthcare organisation, the PHA.  We were briefed to create the animation in a style that could be interpreted as traditional 2d animation, which meant adding in an element of irregularity and misalignment to our clean and crisp animation renders.

Th quirky “3D animation used as 2d stop-motion style” of the final spots required the high resolution rendered frames of animation that we created to be printed onto T-shirts. These were then filmed worn by an actor, in our client, Freakworks’ studio, to create the final stop-motion commercials.

The result is an original and highly effective animation.
