SAEquip – VR

The IP Interactive team created this stunning immersive VR experience for SAEquip, suppliers of emergency electrical equipment to heavy industries. Designed to be used as an interactive sales tool to demonstrate to potential buyers, the capabilities of their emergency lighting range of products in a realistic potential usage scenario. As the key target market for the products in question is the oil & gas industry, the scenario chosen was occurrence of an emergency situation on an offshore platform. This was implemented as a mini-game, where the player has to complete a set objective of illuminating an area on a storm-bound rig, using SAEquip lighting products. Pertinent vital statistics for each of the products used are displayed via pop-ups within VR, which the player can read as they play.
